The Black Phone

My favorite movie of 2022 is The Black Phone. The Black Phone is a horror movie about a kid, Finn, trying to escape  his kidnapper. The main character’s name is Finn and he lives in a dangerous small town. He gets calls from the murderer’s past victims for help and he uses everything that was left behind in order to escape the house. There is a phone in the basement that can only be heard by the kidnapper and Finn, the young boy who was kidnapped.

The twist of the phone is that the line is cut and it’s a ghost phone. The phone rings and on the other end is a phone from the past to help him. Finn’s sister has the power to see things and solve mysteries in her sleep. She able to find out where Finn is and saves him. The movie has a lot of jumps, twists, and turns.

My favorite part of the movie is when he meets people from the past and learns what they did to escape. Whether it was building, fighting, picking locks, etc. The ghost doesn’t know who they are, but they know what they did, and what was left behind.

The movie is very interesting and will capture your attention very fast. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves horror movies and plot twists.
