The Batman

The best movie of 2022 was The Batman. While superhero movies are known to be gimmicky and fake, they are put in different categories of film. When a movie like The Batman is created, it competes with all kinds of genres. There have been several renditions of Batman that Robert Pattinson had to live up to. Thankfully, he delivered.

The Batman takes place in Gotham City, a dark city full of crime and political corruption, and the people’s protector is Batman. Pattinson’s amazing performance immerses you into the plot, and feels like a true mystery filled with action. The plot kept building with each scene and the finale was set up perfectly. The cinematography heightens the intensity of the film, as it reels you in with all the beautifully done shots. Every scene and camera angle has meaning and the CGI looks authentic.

The Batman never fails to leave you on the edge of your seat. Even the cast shows strong talent which helped bring the movie to life, allowing every role to make an impact. Hopefully, we get to see more Batman movies in the future, preferably starring Pattinson.
