Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the best sequels to a movie. The emotion and the music is what allows the movie to stand out amongst the other Marvel films. The beginning shows the death of T’Challa, which ia pivotal because his death symbolizes a new beginning for Wakanda and its people. Namor and the Talokan are the new villains of this movie and seek help from Wakanda for its goals. The actors do an incredible job at portraying their characters. You can feel the emotion and anger Shuri (T’Challa’s sister) expresses throughout the movie. Shuri’s character eventually changes and she comes to terms with the fact that not everything can be solved with science.

The beginning of the film tells us that T’Challa suffered from an Illness. Shuri fails to create a heart shaped plant to save him. During the middle of the movie, using her faith and science skills she is able to create a Heart Shaped Plant. During the ceremony to become the new Black Panther she is met with Killmonger, the villain from the first movie. Killmonger asks her a question which she does not give an answer to. Shuri loses a lot during this movie, first her brother and next her mother. She goes down a path of vengeance against Namor.

In the end of the movie, when she is about to deal her finishing blow, her mother tells her that she needs to be who she is. After the battle, she burns her mourning clothes which symbolizes moving on in their culture. Hold Me Down by Rihanna plays in the background of the scene which makes the audience really feel the pain of the character. The Black Panther Series has one of the best soundtracks in a Marvel movie.
