Staying motivated could definitely be one of the greatest challenges. 2020 itself is one of the biggest tasks anyone could have gone through. So much has changed in these past few months, but it didn’t stop the hard working individuals. It’s hard to keep going when you’re exhausted. It’s hard to keep going when you feel like it’s too much for you to handle. Although, it’s essential to know that procrastination or giving up won’t get you anywhere. What about those goals you want to achieve? Now with the holidays approaching it could be even harder to stay on track, but we must pull through. The goals you want to reach will only get reached with your determination.

As we all know, this year was just something else. 2020 is for sure a great example of staying motivated. With schools being ½ remote and ½ virtual, people working from home, or even those who lost their jobs during the pandemic, it is definitely different compared to the other usual yearly routines. Nonetheless, to keep going is so crucial. Throughout these past months of constant life curveballs, we wouldn’t have gotten to this point today if it wasn’t for our perseverance. Being weeks away from the holiday spirit, it is common for people to start slacking in their work but that can’t be the case. These next three weeks are just as important as any regular school day. Breaks are nice for individuals to take a breather after working diligently for so long. It gives them the ability to ease their mind for a bit and it’s one of the biggest reliefs. 2020 is almost over, so the best thing to do is finish off strong hoping for a much better 2021.

  • Set goals that interest you- Define it- Why do you want to accomplish that?
  • Make a plan- How/What do you need to do to get there?
  • Think positive- Think of the feeling of relief when you get there!
  • Look for a bigger picture- How will this make a difference?
  • Be organized- Nothing is better than a peaceful, productive environment 
  • Stay in your zone- Maybe multitasking isn’t your best bet as you want to put all your attention on that one focus
  • Keep it fun- Great Motivator

Do you find yourself giving up when things become a bit challenging? Don’t! It is so powerful to keep up the incredible work, even if you already crossed the finish line. Are you doing what you love? Finally got to accomplish your goal? Awesome, now don’t stop. Motivation allows you to develop new talents, expand your interests, be creative, set goals, and boost your commitment. New obstacles often teach us new ways to tackle strategies. A con always comes with a pro. It just depends on how you take on that duty. Do you feel like you’re running out of fuel to make it to break? No. Remember the hard work never goes unnoticed.
