Stanley Cup Predictions

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full swing. And in all honesty, there is no guaranteed winner. Each division has a powerhouse, and there have been upsets left and right. The Islanders beat the Penguins in six games. The Montreal Canadians came back fro being down 3-1 and beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in seven games. Then the Canadians beat the Cup-favorite Winnipeg Jets in four games with a clean sweep. As you can see, predictions are being proven wrong time and time again.

Starting off, there are two teams that could win it.  The Canadians are hot, and they are winning games they shouldn’t, which is why they won’t stop whining until the Stanley Cup Final. If the Las Vegas Golden Knights pull off the upset over the offensively powered Colorado Avalanche, there is no stopping the Canadians. With Carey Price playing like vintage Carey Price, there’s no offense that can get pucks past him. With a .935 save percentage, it will be hard for any team. For the Eastern Conference, the Tampa Bay Lightning won the series in five games over the Carolina Hurricanes. The Islanders are up 3-2 in the series and have game 6 June 9th at home in the Coliseum, but if they win, that’ as far as they will get. The Lightning are way too overpowered of a team being perfectly balanced on offense, defense, and goalie play. The Lightning will play the Canadians in the Cup final, and the Lightning will be way too much to handle and will win the cup final in game 5.
