Dylan Hernandez

It goes without saying that there are a lot of breakup songs out there, and when there are just so many it’s very difficult to stand out, this song, however, stands out. To sum it up, it’s about a guy whose girlfriend cheated on him, left him, and now he’s sad and alone along with feeling a plethora of other emotions, mostly sadness, anger, and a bit of nostalgia. The song goes back and forth between wishing the singer and his ex were back together, angrily singing about his ex, and about his deep sadness for being betrayed. If I had to guess, the “Smoking out the window‘ comes from how when someone is stressed, depressed, or just in a bad spot, they unfortunately turn to drugs. Overall this song was pretty good, and I’d give it a 7/10.
