Ms.Reichelt

We have a new teacher in the Lindenhurst High School district and her name is Ms.Reichelt. Here’s some Q & A along with some fun facts!

How has your experience been teaching so far?
Ms.Reichelt stated, “My experience with teaching so far has been awesome. I do not have my own class yet but subbing is rewarding as I get to know many students. I love walking through the hallways and hearing “Hi Ms. Reichelt” or when I see students get excited to see me in passing or when I get to sub their class. It makes me feel I have had a positive impact on them in some way.

What is your favorite movie?
Ms.Reichelt answered, “I really love the movie Rudy and Talladega Nights but I am not really a movie person. I get bored :)”

What or who inspired you to teach?
Ms.Reichelt said,” My 11th grade teacher inspired me to teach (Ms. Aurigemma). I saw the impact she had on kids in the math classroom and I wanted to be that person to others in the future.”

What is your favorite academic subject?
Ms. Reichelt’s favorite subject is math!

Do you enjoy sports? If so, what sports?
Mrs.Reichelt explained, “I do enjoy sports. I am the JV Cheerleading coach so I love doing that. At home, I enjoy watching football.”

What is your favorite food?
Mrs.Reichelt’s favorite foods are Italian and ice cream.

If you could be any fruit what would you be?
Ms. Reichelt said she would be a grape! She said, “ I would be a grape. I love grapes and they are so refreshing on a hot day especially when they have a nice crunch to it with the bite. “

What clothes do you prefer to wear?
Mrs.Reichelt said she prefers to wear sweats.

What grade would you like to teach?
Ms. Reichelt stated, “ I would enjoy teaching 11th/12th graders but can teach 7-12 math and would be happy to teach any grade.”

What college did you attend?
Ms.Reichelt went to Sacred Heart University, then attended Saint Joseph’s college. Saint Joseph’s is a school located in Patchogue.
