In the last two months many amazing, sad, and crazy things happened in the start of 2020, especially with sports. At the age of 41, legend, Kobe Bryant died on January 26, 2020. Many people were shocked when they heard the news. 

Barack Obama on Twitter stated “Kobe was a legend on the court and just getting started in what would have been just as meaningful a second act. To lose Gianna is even more heartbreaking to us as parents. Michelle and I send love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.” Patrick Mahomes  also stated on Twitter “Man, not Kobe… Prayers to his family and friends! #RIPMamba

The Pro Bowl was just kicking off at the time of his death.  The Pro Bowl score was 33 to 38 AFC beat NFC. Here are the stats for the pro bowl. Harrison Smith and Za’Darius Smith both caught an interception and Fletcher Cox rumbled one home for a defensive score.

The Super Bowl

That was crazy. The Super Bowl ended with a 31-29 score. Patrick Mahomes got MVP and many young 49er stars were crying, getting so far but then losing the game all above others not cool.

Damian Williams took over the game. He had 104 yd and 2 touchdowns. Deebo Samuel rushed 3 times for a gain of 53 yards the whole game and each rush was over 13 yards.

Soccer

The super cup of Spain passed. Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid on penalties 4 to 2.  Now the next championship is coming in the summer, the Euro Championship.  France, Germany, and Portugal got paired in a group and Croatia and England got paired in a group.
