Are Phones Good for You?
Do you think phones are good for you? Many parents will begin to think about providing their children with a phone during their middle school year, when kids are more likely to be involved in after school activities and more likely to be home alone, according to Nielsen Report released on February 2017, After school, kids are supposed to be doing homework, but instead, they are on their phones. When they are eating dinner ,they are just staring at their phone and that’s not good. Kids are supposed to be with their family and enjoy time with them, like going outside or going to the park. Now in 2004, most teens, 85% of those aged 14 to 17, have cell phones. So do 69% 11 – 14-year-old and 36% of kids aged 8- 10, according to a 2010 survey by the Kaiser family.

Some kids’ parents do not care about their children being on the phone for so long. Sometimes, kids can play learning games. A good suggestion would be for a kid to have screen time for 20 minutes. When kids are done with those 20 minutes; they should then spend time with their families.
