Lindy Middle School 2019 Football Season Highlights

The 2019 football season for the green team was not exactly the best this year. We only won one game out of nine. However, the green team plays some of the toughest teams in the league. One of the best highlights of the season was the first game vs. Copiague. We did really well and we worked the ball down the field and were playing good defense. Unfortunately, that was a game that I hurt my knee, but it was not that bad. I still got to play for like the whole half of the game. I was only out for two practices and I still got to play in the game the next week. There was a player on my team that got hurt and I filled his spot as a running back.  I did really well in that position and I got to play that spot for the rest of the year. Every game I worked at getting better at running back and gaining more and more yards every game and more points. Overall, I consider it a successful season.
