My Opinion On Hamilton!

What Is Hamilton?

To all those who don’t know the musical Hamilton is a musical about Alexander Hamilton and the Revolutionary War. A bit of information about Alexander is that he was born on January 11th, 1755 and was one of the founding fathers for America. A tiny bit about the Revolutionary War is that it was a time when British colonists fought for independence and rebelled against Great Britain. The war, by the way, was officially from 1775 – 1783.

Let The Review Begin!

I’m going to begin my review of the musical but first I wanted to say that I won’t review every song because there’s about 46 and it would take too long to do and make the article too long as well. Now since all that’s outta the way let’s begin!

I’ll first be reviewing the musical´s first song on the track named ¨Alexander Hamilton¨. The song is sort of an intro for Alexander and brings him to America circa 1776. The song contains most of the actors/actresses in the musical singing and having some part in it. What I like about this song is that it gives us information on what Alexander’s life was like before he came to America. Personally though there isn’t anything about the song that I don’t like. Next, I´ll be reviewing, in my opinion, one of the most impactful songs in the musical named ¨ Stay Alive (Reprise) ¨. It contains the actors/actresses who play Alexander Hamilton, The Doctor, Philip Hamilton, Eliza Schuyler, and of course the ensemble! I personally think that this song is one of the most impactful songs because Philip (Eliza´s and Alexander´s son) ends up dying at the end of it due to a bullet wound from the duel he was in prior to that song. Lastly, I will be doing a review on the album’s very last song ¨ Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story¨. The song contains the actors/actresses who play George Washington, Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Schuyler, Lafayette, John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan, and of course the ensemble! This song basically contains a huge chunk of the cast if not the entire, and moved me a lot the first time I ever listened to it.

💛Conclusion💛

Sadly we’ve come to the end of my opinion article so before I say farewell I just wanted to say that I hope you enjoyed my article! It was really fun to write about Hamilton, it is a big passion of mine. That’s all I really needed to say so farewell and I hope you all have a wonderful day/night!
