ASL — A Favorite Course Here at LHS

Olivia DePoto, Broadcasting Writer

ASL  is one of the most popular courses here at Lindenhurst High School. The course has been taught here for four years. It began back in two thousand and seventeen with one ASL class at the middle school.  The program has really grown.  ASL started with level one, and each year they were able to add a year of ASL.  Since the course is so different, it has a different type of creativity that Students really seem to love. In this interview with Mrs. Roll, she discusses her career as an ASL teacher and her experiences and interactions with the deaf community.
