On Tuesday, November 1st, Taylor Swift announced a new tour called “The Eras Tour”. This tour will represent the many eras of her career, both past and present.

So far the United States leg of the tour is the only leg announced, with international dates soon to be released. Taylor released 26 dates, all being played in stadium arenas. During the United States tour, Taylor will have a variety of special guests as her openers, consisting of: Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Beabadoobee, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN. Each show will have two designated openers per night.

Following the release of her twelfth studio album “Midnights’ ‘, fans are wondering if this tour will revolve around the album’s release, or if it will live up to the title of the many different eras of Taylor’s music. Taylor’s last tour was in 2018, to promote her 6th studio album “Reputation”, but since then she has released 6 more studio albums consisting of “Lover” in 2019, “Folklore” in 2020, “Evermore” in 2020, “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021, “Red (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021, and “Midnights”, this year.

This leaves some fans also questioning if this is Taylor’s final tour, or if this tour is to make up for the time lost for her previous album releases that never got a tour designated to them.

Fans all around the world are waiting to get their tickets, and international fans are waiting to see what arenas Taylor will be playing in near them in the future. This tour seems like it was a long and thoughtful process, considering that there are many openers for the tour, and there are many more dates to be announced.
