Since the year of 2022 is coming to an end, the Charles Street Times decided to give you a top 10 list of artists and their popular songs.

Coming first at #10 is Michael Jackson. This is a re-entry, his peak position on the list was #10 for billboard. Michael hasn’t been in this spot on the board for very long but he has been on the list for 356 weeks as well as received an award. His album Thriller is what made him fly to the tenth spot on the list.

Next, our #9 spot was taken by Bad Bunny. Last week he was positioned at #11, but he quickly moved up the list this week. His highest position was #1, and he has been on the list for 243 weeks. His most popular song of 2022 that contributed to this success is titled, “Me porto bonito.”

Our next artist at #8 is Luke Combs, who is currently slowly rising on the list as he was #9 last week. His highest position was #1, and he has been on the list for 299 weeks. His most popular song of 2022 is, “When It Rains It Pours.”

Following Luke Combs at #7, is The Weeknd after the band rose three spots from being #10 last week. His highest position is #1, and he has been on the chart for 385 weeks. His #1 song is “Blinding Lights,” which was released in 2019.

Coming in at #6 is 21 savage, who fell from the #4 spot last week. His highest position was #3 and he’s been on the list for 118 weeks. His most played song was “Bank Account,” which he released in 2017.

Next is #5, which is taken by Michael Bublé. His holiday music is immensely popular during this time, which can be seen from his sharp rise from being at the #14 spot last week. Some of his hit songs are, “Feeling Good” and “I’m Not Surprised.” He has been on the charts for 71 weeks.

Taking our #4th position is Harry Styles, which is slightly better than his spot at #5 last week. His peak position was #1 and he’s been on the charts for 179 weeks. His most popular song right now is “Daydreaming” from the album Harry’s House. This song was released in 2022.

Next is #3, earned by Morgan Wallen, who has consistently been in the same spot since last week. His highest position was #1 on the chart and he’s been on it for 195 weeks so far. His most popular song is titled “More Than My Home Town,” which is from his album Dangerous: The Double Album, released in 2021.

Our #2 spot is Drake, who has been on the chart for 440 weeks and has consistently held the position at #2 since last week. His highest position was #1, and his most popular song is “Hotline Bling,” which was made in 2015. It became so popular due to it being extremely catchy and having a unique music video.

Finally, our #1 spot is Taylor Swift, who has been killing it with her new album called Midnight, which has become a huge hit. She’s been on the chart for 436 weeks, and has been consistently holding the #1 spot. Her most popular song today is “Anti-Hero,” which she wrote about the things she critiqued about herself.
