Stranger Things is one of the most popular TV shows of the last decade, and fans are eagerly anticipating the release of season 5. The show has captivated audiences with its blend of sci-fi, horror, and 80’s nostalgia, and has become a cultural phenomenon in its own right. Here’s everything we know so far about Stranger Things season 5.

The first thing to note is that Stranger Things season 5 is definitely happening. The show was renewed for a fifth season by Netflix, and filming is set to begin in June. The show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, have said that season 5 will be the final season of Stranger Things

As for the plot of season 5, details are scarce. However we do know that the season will take place in 1987, one year after the events of season 4. The show’s creators have said that they will be pulling ideas from season 2.

One thing we do know for sure is that the core cast will be returning for season 5. This includes Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin, Caleb Mclaughin as Lucas, Noah Schnapp as Will, and Sadie Sink as Max. There have also been rumors that Jamie Campbell Bower will be returning as Vecna, despite being injured at the end of season 4.

So when can we expect to see Stranger Things season 5? Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say for sure. However the show’s creators have said that they hope to release the season in late 2023, early 2024, so we will have to wait a bit.

In conclusion, Stranger Things season 5 is one of the most highly anticipated TV events of the next few years. While details are scarce, we know that the season will be set in 1987 and will be more solely based on the origins of the upside down, and hopefully the lab or any other children with powers, like Eleven. With the exciting rumors, we’re sure that season 5 will be worth the wait.
