On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, the Bulldogs were victorious against the Connetquot T-Birds. The action began right away when Jeremy Ruckert turned a tipped pass from his teammate, Corey Voorneveld, into a pick-6 on the4 first play of the night pushing the Bulldogs ahead 7-0 (following Ruckert’s successful field goal) off the bat. The Bulldogs dominated the first quarter leaving the score 31-0 at the end of the first. The final score of the night was 45-12 in favor of the Lindy Bulldogs. Top performers of the night included Jeremy Ruckert (12 yard interception, 29 yard pass from QB Nick Anzalone, along with numerous successful field goals), Ricky Conway (44 yard pass from Anzalone), and Cordell Fontana (23 yard run). Quarterback Nick Anzalone threw for 195 yards resulting in 3 touchdowns. The Lindenhurst Bulldogs are now 4-0 with an upcoming game on Saturday, October 7th hosting the Patchogue Medford Raiders for the 2017 Lindenhurst Homecoming.
