Dune – an extravagant new film taking the world by storm

“Dune” is an amazing film that got its origins from the Frank Herbert “Dune” series of Books that was released all the way back to 1965. Now in 2021 the talented director Denis Villeneueve has brought back this tale to the big screen with so many big names in today’s entertainment world. The main cast consists of : Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebbeca Ferugson, Jason Momoa, Oscar Issac, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dave Bautista.
Each of the actors and actresses have a major role in this movie and really brought it to life. This movie has so many twists and turns that will help keep their audience entertained, but at the same time many people could get lost while watching this film. So to get a better understanding of this movie, you need to be able to know details that are essential to movies that aren’t as focused on.
The Main Character of “Dune” is Paul Atreides and another significant character who is connected is Chani. Chani is a part of the Fremen, natives of the planet Arrakis. On Arrakis, previously the Harkonnenss were in control of Chani’s planet, because of a previous invasion. But, by emperor decree the Harkonnenss left Arrakis planet. Chani has only ever known life on her planet by overcoming invaders or rulers and she wonders who the new rulers may be. Paul belongs to the house of Atreides and is son of the Duke of the house of Atreides and Lady Jessica, Paul lives on planet Caladan. Paul has been taught the teachings of fighting and how to use special powers that his mother has well that belong to her order. This is how our story begins and how Paul and Chani are connected.
