This weekend, Studio Theatre is opening the Long Island premiere of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical! The Bayway Performing Arts Center in East Islip welcomes fans of the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan to come see the stage version. The show is only running this weekend, so buy your tickets soon!

     For the past 7 weeks, freshmen and middle school students across the island have been working rigorously to put up a full length musical based on the book Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Between having two full casts in different locations, director Mike Blangiforti, and stage manager/dance choreographer/fight choreographer Danny Bishop, have had their hands full.
