The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has stood as one of the biggest franchises in film history, and for good reason. They have been adapting amazing and memorable stories from over eighty years of comics. What lies in store for the fans these next few years? Let’s take a look! 

     The newest addition to the MCU film lineup is Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film will feature Marvel’s first ever character, Namor The Sub-Mariner, as the main villain. The film will further the legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman. The film will finish Phase Four of the cinematic universe. The next film, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantamania, will introduce Marvel’s next final foe, the time-conquering Kang. The film will also feature fan favorite villain, M.O.D.O.K. The film will have a much darker tone, being the final chapter in Scott Lang’s story. After that, James Gunn’s final Guardians of the Galaxy film will be released. The movie will have heavy focus on Rocket Raccoon and will feature class foe, The High Evolutionary, as the main antagonist. Joining the team is iconic hero, Adam Warlock. In the next chapter of a new trio, The Marvels will feature a crossover between Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon. Not much is known about this film, but many believe it will introduce many new cosmic threats into the MCU!

     Now taking a darker turn, Blade is slated to release after The Marvels. The film will star Marshelia Ali as the prominent daywalking vampire hunter! With Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, Black Knight, and The Punisher already having major roles, and Man-Thing, Jack Russel, and Blade joining the franchise, it is certainly possible we’ll get the demon hunting Midnight Sons on the big screen soon! After that, we take another look at Anthony Mackie’s role as the star spangled soldier in Captain America: New World Order. The film will contain a fan favorite villain, The Leader, returning from the early MCU with new psychic powers! Capping off Phase Five, we get a team of Marvel’s favorite antiheroes, The Thunderbolts! The currently confirmed cast includes: Yelena Boleva, Red Guardian, Taskmaster, U.S. Agent, Madame Hydra, The Winter Soldier, and Ghost. Leakers are saying that a few members are being held off for later reveals, such as The Hood, Red Hulk, The Punisher, and possibly Baron Zemo! 

     Starting off Phase Six, we have marvel’s first family, The Fantastic Four! The film will supposedly feature comic book villain, Doctor Doom! Next, we have Ryan Reynolds’ final film in the Deadpool trilogy. This film will feature Hugh Jackman, returning as the best X-Man, Wolverine. Not much is known about these two projects, but they are bound to be fantastic! The entire middle of Phase Six is yet to be revealed, but we do know what films will conclude it! Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars will adapt possibly the greatest comic book event ever written, Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Wars. The two films will feature Kang and Doctor Doom fighting for dominance over not just our universe, but all of them. Stay tuned for more, true believers!
