The upcoming year is set with great potential for great movies. Everyone has different tastes in film. Some like horror, some like action, and some like comedy. Lindy’s students were recently asked what film they were most excited for this year, and here are the results.

It seems that our students are big fans of horror movies. A popular choice is Scream 6, releasing March 31st 2023. Other choices include The Nun 2 and The Meg 2, with the latter releasing August 4th 2023.

Many students are fans of action movies. The Fast and Furious 10 is a big contender for most anticipated film of 2023. The newest film is rumored to be the penultimate installment of the series. It is slated to release May 19th 2023.

Quite a few superhero movies are set for release this upcoming year. Marvel will be releasing Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantamania, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.3 , and The Marvels. They will be released in cinemas on February 17th 2023, May 5th 2023, and July 28th, 2023 respectively. Sony will separately release Kraven The Hunter on October 6th 2023 as well.

DC will be releasing quite a few projects as well. Shazam! Fury of The Gods will be released March 17th 2023. Now controversial, thanks to Ezra Miller’s recent arrest, The Flash film will be released June 23rd 2023, and will loosely adapt the “Flashpoint” story. Blue Beetle will be released on HBO Max on August 18th, 2023. Finally, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will be released on December 25th, 2023.

2023 is a year jam-packed with new, exciting films. See you at the cinema!
