Barbarian

If you want a movie full of suspense, comedy, and true horror then Barbarian is the film for you.

This movie starts off with a woman going to her Airbnb, but it ends up being occupied by someone else. As they both stay at the house, the pair realized that something unusual is going on with the home. This movie is one of the best horror movies of 2022, along with having an excellent cast. Georgina Campbell starring as the main heroine, Tess, Bill Skarsgård starring as Keith, and Justin Long starring as AJ.

What makes this movie so good is it’s unexpectedness and how we can’t always make assumptions. This movie is full of plot twists and allows us to think about how everything is not as it seems. The movie is directed by writer-director, Zach Cregger, and he uses brilliant directorial choices by incorporating dozens of clichés along with touches of American horror films from the 80s and 90s.

This movie is the best of 2022 because of it’s cast, script, comedic timing, and the horror.
