The Split
Back in 2009 Noel Gallagher finally decided he was done with Oasis after years of arguments and fights. In April of 2009 Noel said in an interview that “Liam is the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup. ” Their last show was in Paris; backstage Liam Gallagher decided to take his guitar and swing it around like an ax. This was Noel’s final stroke. Oasis was done, or so we thought. Even though Oasis was no longer a band, the brothers still played the songs at separate events and shows. Noel officially became a solo artist in March of 2010. In Rolling Stone Magazine, Noel claimed that there will never be any sort of reunion because he was done with his brother’s nonsense. In 2019, Liam claimed that he wanted to reconcile with his brother and contacted his AP hoping for a reunion, but Noel wanted nothing to do with it.
Tour: Where and When
For years fans have been yearning for a reunion yet still no sign of one. Eventually the rumors of one had started. After years, Liam finally managed to contact Noel. A few months went by and their summer tour in the UK was announced with their first show being in Dublin, Ireland in 2025. According to BBC News, “They will play five dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, and seven dates at London’s Wembley Stadium – two more than the previously announced five.”
Ticketmaster/Scalper problems
Since Ticketmaster was created people have always had problems with scalpers. When it comes to the Oasis Tour it’s getting worse, but Ticketmaster doesn’t do anything about this issue because they make a profit off of every ticket sold, so scalpers help them to bring in more money. It’s out of control and many fans are angry about the situation. The same thing happened during Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour.
