The first Moana movie was released in 2016. Walt Disney’s Studio’s Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers.

The story line for this movie is much different than the first one. Moana receives an unexpected call from her ancestors, and Moana must go to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long lost waters that she has never faced. Her goal in this movie is to reconnect her people across the ocean. Most of the original cast will be returning like Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson will be returning to be their original characters.

The public has many questions about Moana 2 and are wondering if this movie will answer many unanswered questions that were left in the first movie. One question many people have asked is why did Maui’s family abandon him. This is a question that was left unanswered and this movie that is getting released can have the opportunity to answer this question. Another unanswered question that the public wants to figure out in this movie is why was the chief’s necklace made to hold the heart of Te Fiti. The fact that the necklace was the exact shape to hold the heart couldn’t be a coincidence and can be a good answer to find in this movie. Lastly a very popular question that the public has to ask is could the ocean still help Moana after the first movie. Giving the story line of this new movie it sounds like Moana has to face many challenges with the ocean and lots of danger.

A question that would have to be found out with this movie is will the ocean be on Moana’s side like the 2016 movie or will it not be in her favor for this new production.
