Sabrina Carpenter was born on May 11, 1999 in Pennsylvania and was homeschooled with her sisters growing up. When she moved to California, she starred in the show Girl Meets World, along with many others. Sabrina Carpenter began to post videos of covering songs at the age of 10.
Both being performers, her parents Elizabeth Carpenter and David Carpenter always encouraged her to pursue her dreams of being a performer. When Sabrina was younger, she was a dancer, as was her mother.
Sabrina has had a lot of success in her music career. She released her first single “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying” in 2014 and released 4 albums after. Her first hit song was her debut single “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”, which was written by Meghan Trainor. This song received many positive reviews.
Sabrina then released her single “Skin”, which was her first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100. She released her 5th album titled Emails I Can’t Send in 2022, which had her popular song “Nonsense”.
On August 23, 2024, she released her 6th album, Short n’ Sweet. It had hits such as “Espresso” and “Please Please Please”, which both charted on the Billboard charts. Her song “Please Please Please” charted number 1 on Hot 100.
Sabrina Carpenter has done multiple shows. Her Short n’ Sweet tour started on September 23, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio and will go until March 26, 2025 in Milan, Italy. There will be 47 shows total in the Short n’ Sweet tour.
