It’s October, so many people’s favorite holiday is around the corner! Halloween is soon to be celebrated on the 31st, but before that, the Lindenhurst High School is hosting its yearly event, Safe Halloween. For the special occasion, the classrooms and halls are decorated spookily for the full effect. In the halls and classrooms, all kids are welcomed in for trick or treating with their costumes and candy buckets. Also before Halloween, Trick or Trunk is being held by Lindy Cares at the Lindenhurst Village Square Park and Gazebo. Decorating trunks, wearing costumes, trick or treating, and just celebrating Halloween altogether.
Celebrating Halloween and going out to trick or treating can always be fun, but safety should always come first. Safe Halloween can be a really nice alternative to your children’s Halloween experience if you prefer your kid to stay inside during the night. There’s plenty of classrooms to go through and still gather lots of candy as if you were trick or treating regularly. Trick or Trunk brings many people together to bond, with their costumes and their decorations of their own trunk. Children and others can trick or treat for their candy here as well. Trick or Trunk can also be a safe alternative for trick or treating, as it’s a closed space, but not private! Both of these events are free to go into, and to have fun.
Safe Halloween, will be taking place in the Lindenhurst High School (300 Charles St, Lindenhurst, NY 11757), while Trick or Trunk will be held in the Lindenhurst Village Square Park and Gazebo, (116 North Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY, 11757) on Saturday, October 26th, at five to seven PM, so be sure to check these two events out this year! Be sure to have fun, Happy Halloween and stay safe!
