Netflix has recently dropped Act One and Act Two of the Netflix Original, Arcane. So far, this season is amazing.
With it being announced during the tenth anniversary celebration of the game League of Legends in 2019, Arcane was finally released on November 6, 2021 in the United States. The first season was sectioned into three acts, Act Two released on November 16, 2021 and Act Three released on November 23, 2021. As of now, the rest of the second season of Arcane’s acts will be released on November 23, 2024, with Act One and Act Two streaming on November 6, 2024 and November 16th, 2024.
The Netflix Original Arcane is based on the game League of Legends. League of Legends was published in late 2009 by Riot Games. League of Legends is a free multiplayer online game where players fight against each other to destroy the opposing team’s base. In Arcane, there are two opposing teams with many mainlines going on all at the same time.
One of the teams is known as the “Upside”, Piltover, and the other is the “Undercity”, Zaun. Once teams are united, they are separated for their own two worlds. Piltover has plenty of people, money, and smarts, with their land looking much cleaner than Zaun. In Piltover, the council controls the city, while Zaun lets all its people have their freedom, with only one law: to stick together and never go against their own people.
With the next act of Arcane released, be sure to, if you haven’t already, catch up on the first season and what has already been released of the second season!
