The year of 2024 has just wrapped up and there were lots of memorable moments that happened. The year hasn’t seen much from big superhero titles from Marvel or DC, the only successful superhero movie being Deadpool & Wolverine by Marvel. This leaves the fans to scout for the next year’s superhero movie and show releases. One of these titles is the Fantastic Four with a movie releasing July 25th 2025 and is expected to set up a new Avengers movie with an Avengers level threat.

The movie stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards also known as “Mr Fantastic”, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm the “Invisible Woman”, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm the “Human Torch”, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm also known as “The Thing”. This cast has done many successful projects and has the capability to deliver this movie well to fans. The movie is set in a futuristic setting and is focused more on the characters being celebrities before acquiring their superhuman abilities. The film seems to follow the origins of the previous Fantastic Four runs, when the characters go on a space experimental expedition to get their superpowers. The main antagonist is said to be the space sized “Galactus” played by Ralph Ineson. This film is said to set up the next big villain to the Avengers with Doctor Doom being played by Robert Downey Jr who has previously played Tony Stark also known as “Ironman” in the MCU.

The year 2025 seems to be looking bright for Marvel in all aspects of games, shows and movies. With the new hype for Marvel from new projects like Marvel Rivals which promised new heroes to be added every 45 days, and with the Fantastic Four being recently added to the game. The new crowd of fans that came from these projects from Marvel might have an interest in future projects that Marvel will put out.
