At last, season 5 of the thriller series, You, will be released on April 24th, 2025. This Netflix Original is about this dangerous, obsessive man, who would do anything for the one. Joe Goldberg continuously searches for the love he deserves in every woman he finds fit. Using every piece of evidence he can, he finds out every detail about the girl he wants. Starting from an awkward little crush, turning into love, then straight obsession. Hopefully, the girl he’ll love this time won’t turn out like how it did for the others.

Starring Penn Badgely as Joe Goldberg, this season he continues to search for the one, while also trying to move on from the past, and reconnect with his family. Back in New York City, Mooney’s has reopened, and maybe, we will see older characters from the first season, such as Guinevere Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail, and an old friend, Paco, played by Luca Padovan. Haunted by Beck, will Joe be able to overcome that image by truly finding the right one, or will he forever be stuck in this loop of failed relationships and love?

Over the last few seasons, Joe has been conflicted with plenty of situations, problems and difficulties. All of them have two similarities though, one similarity is finding the person that may be the right fit for him, and the second similarity is that the person has not fully met Joe’s standards. Fighting for his love and the obstacles that come with it just hasn’t seemed to be enough for Joe to have found his person. This time, he has to fight for more than one thing, getting over his ex, Beck, finding and connecting with his son, figure out how he’ll get away from his current relationship, and finally be with his right one.
