Spring Fashion 2018

Spring is almost over, but before we hop into bikinis and crop tops here are some last minute spring clothes to try on before summer appears. Colors for this season are pastels such purples, blues and pinks. Darker colors include red, green and yellow. Patterns include floral of course if you want to blend in, and stripes.

Probably one of the best spring trends and  a favorite of the most stylish are the Off-The-Shoulder tops. This popular style is for girls who rather show off on top then their stomach with a crop top. According to Glamour.com writers Halie Lesavage and Ana Colon, “If a top can be equally loved by a British royal and legions of Zara shoppers, it’s not going anywhere.”

Another top that has gone trending is the tube top. According to Glamor.com, the tube has been around since 2001 and is making a come back. “Bust out your flip phone because 2001 called to announce the return of yet another beloved item from the aughts: the tube top.” Who doesn’t love some grunge vintage clothing, right? The tube top is great for showing off both your stomach and shoulders for the spring weather. Certain tube tops look great with something over it, such as jean jackets, windbreakers, cardigans or a blazer as Glamor would suggest. “Nowadays, you’re more likely to see them worn under blazers and oversize suiting, or layered over a button-down for a whimsy take on business casual.”

Striped and colored pants are also in right now, ranging from the colors; pink, blue and copper. The striped pants give you a more classy feel and should only be worn with solid colors or else it will look too busy. However, colored pants chould be worn with stripes to keep a nice balance.

Lastly, the most trending item for spring right now is skirts and dresses. Of course, floral dresses are a must considering the flowers popping out of the ground. Also striped dresses with jean jackets are also at high demand at the moment.  Speaking of jean, jean skirts and dresses have definitely grown popularity lately, in Glamour’s article, “unexpected denim clothing that ain’t jeans” written by Priya Rao says, “There is perhaps nothing as classic in American fashion than our tried-and-true blue jeans.”

So with all of this hype for new trends, hopefully you’ve found one hot thing to wear this spring!
