Animal Crossing New Horizon:
Festivale Day Playthrough
The day is February 15th, you just wake up after celebrating Valentine’s Day with your significant other or lie in bed wishing you had one. You check the date on your calendar/phone, Feb.15.2020. You log onto Animal Crossing New Horizons to check for the new update.
Isabella says something a bit different than her regular announcement, the usual added with the acknowledgement of Festivale. When you get out of your house you are met with different music (similar to something a marching band would play) and confetti streaming from the air above. Soon enough if you walk around you will be met with your neighbors in a gradient colored suit or dress and a feather crown. If you choose to speak with them they will say something like Isabelle and encourage you to dance with them.
In about the middle of the town hall you are met with a large peacock on top of a parade float. When you speak with his the name Pavé, he is appalled that you aren’t dancing or in the Festivale outfit, what your neighbors are wearing. He has a task for you to collect three of the same colored feathers to him. Pavé gives you a recipe for a rainbow feather which requires a red, blue, green, and purple feather. Pavé tells you this afterwards, “You can use the feathers of Festivale for whatever your heart desires… Feathers brought to Pavé will turn into rewards GIVEN by Pavé”. You go off into your town to find feathers like he said. The feathers have a quip underneath the message of what you caught, “I caught a purple feather! How flirty and fabulous!”. Each has a different message
~Purple-How flirty and fabulous!
~Green-So smooth, so soothing
~Rainbow-WOO-HOO! Viva Festivale
~Bue-As cool as it is hot
~Red-The Passion! It is overwhelming
If you bring the rainbow feather to Pavé he will freak out and ask for it, f you give it to him he will laugh and then scream “Viva Rainbow” and then dane and give you a Festivale object. He tells you upfront that he NEEDS more feathers. You go to him again when you have three or more feathers to the same color. He asked the same question, you accept turns to dance and screams “FESTIVALE… EN FUEGO!” (Festivale….on fire?). He throws the feathers up in the air behind him and gives you another item. If you decline he will show you his anger then starts crying. However that phrase doesn’t match with all of the colors.
~Red-Festivale-FESTIVALE…EN FUEGO! (Festivale….on fire?)
~Blue-BOM FESTIVALE! (Boom Festivale?)
~Purple-OOH LA LA Festivale
~Green-CIAO FESTIVALE! (Bye Festivale?)
If you try to sell these, you have the option to do so, the rainbow feather can sell for 1,600 Bells while the others sell for 200 Bells. Timmy and Tommy have the crowns on and you look behind them at the limited item; a Festivale Stage. You buy it for 6,000 Bells then set off for more feathers.
After getting eight Festivale objects Pave gives you a quest to give him three rainbow feathers to get the “Ultimate Festivate Reward”. During this quest you will find it easier to find rainbow feathers, you may not even have to craft that. If you complete this and give it to him Pave yells, “SUPER RAINBOW” in rainbow font. Pave gives you the Festivale Float and still requests more feathers. If you give him more feathers you will get a duplicate item.
However you try one more thing, to purchase the Festivale outfit from the Able Sisters and go to Pavé. In there you find a purple Festivale tank dress, with the provided crown, the blue suit with the corresponding crown, and a green festivale tank. You buy every color of the Festivale Costume, Festivale Tank Dress, and the Festivale accessory.
You go back to your home, access the storage and put your collected items in there and call it a night.
