Rebecca Goehring is a Freshman at Lindenhurst High School. This is her first year writing for The Charles Street Times. She has been playing softball her whole life. Rebecca plays for a travel team called Nitro. This is her 2nd year on Nitro but 5th year on a travel team. Rebecca is primarily at shortstop but also plays the outfield. Last school year she started playing field hockey and is on the JV team for high school. In her free time she likes to do crafts, listen to music, watch movies, and play with her dog. Rebecca shoots for academic brilliance. She works very hard in school to obtain good grades but also being a great athlete.
