NFL Tight-End, Travis Kelce, and worldwide pop star, Taylor Swift, made their relationship official this past week. Since the NFL season started, there has been a variety of rumors and speculations that Kelce has been involved with musician Taylor Swift. 

It all started when Kelce stated he attended the Eras Tour held in Arrowhead, his home stadium, on his podcast New Heights. New Heights is the Kelce Brothers podcast where Travis and Jason, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles, talk about the current NFL season and how it impacts their lives. Travis had mentioned he made a friendship bracelet, Taylor Swift’s symbol among her fans, and wrote his phone number with beads. Unfortunately, Kelce couldn’t make it backstage to give his gift to his new celebrity crush. Two months later, Travis reveals that he invited Taylor Swift to come to watch him play in Arrowhead, he quotes, “I threw the ball in her court,” “I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come to see me rock the stage in Arrowhead.’ We’ll see what happens in the near future.”

On September 24th, Taylor made her first debut at Arrowhead and cheered on Kelce as he played against the Chicago Bears. Millions were shocked, and pictures of Swift were spread on different social media platforms and many magazines. Taylor was conversing with Donna Kelce, Travis’s mom, and many laughs and smiles were shared. Later that night, Taylor and Travis were seen leaving the stadium and soon seen leaving together in his “getaway car”. That week on New Heights, the Kelce brothers then reflected on the game and Travis even added a comment on how perfect the night went. 

The following Sunday, October 1st, Taylor Swift attended the New York Jets game against the Chiefs at Metlife Stadium. Tension was built up between Swift’s fans and the NFL community until it was confirmed Taylor would be seen at another game to cheer on her new romance. As everyone says, “Third time’s a charm”, Taylor was also seen at the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos Thursday Night Football match on October 12th. She once again joined Donna Kelce in the family suite at Arrowhead Stadium. 

At this point, it was controversial whether Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially together. However, on October 15th, paparazzi pictures went viral of the couple holding hands for the post-show party after the Saturday Night Live Season 49 premiere. It was unsaid that their relationship is official but many can assume that they are finally together after a picture surfaced of superstar Taylor Swift planting a kiss on Kansas City Chief, eight-time Pro Bowler Travis Kelce’s cheek. Many appearances of the couple together surface all over social media platforms, implying that their relationship is confirmed.
