This year the themes for the haunted house are the year 2452 and the Ravenhurst Mansion. In the 2452 attraction, you will be transported into the future and uncover giant scientific advancements, watching the scientists undergo a terrifying alteration. As for the actual Ravenhurst attraction, you will see a family uncover an ancient artifact in their estate and get influenced by the devil himself! You will see each possessed family member as you walk through the house. The haunted house will be open every Thursday through Sunday till November 2nd. This house is open every year, so if you can’t make it this year be sure to go to the one next year!
- Schmitt’s Farm Haunt – Melville, New York
This haunted house started as a small idea in 1994 and turned into a local favorite. There are multiple attractions and each one is scarier than the last. The actors tend to hide in plain sight to give you more of a scare, so watch out! A permanent barn was constructed just for the haunt only after 2 years of it being open. Getting tickets for the haunted house early is a must, with many people attending yearly.
- RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns – Wheately Heights, New York
This attraction will take you through a long trail of over 7,000 intricately carved pumpkins. Each section has its own theme ranging from sports, movies, and more. This trail is the perfect place for family photos and a great attraction for kids, teens, and adults. The attraction is open until the 28th of October.
