Juliona Bacalles

Juliona Bacalles is a sophomore at the Lindenhurst High School. This will be her first year writing for the Charles Street Times. She is 15 years old and has two older twin brothers who are both 25 years old. Juliona is mostly interested in medicine and medical topics relating to dermatology and cosmetic surgery. When she graduates high school she would love to go to Stony Brook Medicine and study plastic surgery and dermatology. After her studies, she wants to move to Beverly Hills, California and practice medicine there. She even works at Massapequa Dermatology. Juliona has been dancing various styles of dance ever since she was 5 years old. Her favorite style is lyrical or ballet. She even once appeared on Dance Moms back in 2019! She dances with the Dance Ensemble in school in the Dance 2 class. She has been with the Dance Ensemble since 7th grade and absolutely loves the program! Juliona will be writing about  recent medical discoveries and breakthroughs in the world today because one day, she hopes she can discover one of her own.
