What We Know From the Upcoming Game : Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

What+We+Know+From+the+Upcoming+Game+%3A+Marvel%E2%80%99s+Spider-Man+2

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been announced to be released, and soon. October 20, 2023, the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Men are coming to the PS5, with infamous villains. Here’s all you should know before buying the video game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 starts about nine months after the incidents of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Peter is back to balancing his life from Aunt May’s death, and reconnects with Harry Osborn, his best friend.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is going to be a one player game in the third person, but the player will be able to switch between the two Spider-Men.

As for the setting, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be set in an expanded map of New York’s Manhattan Island, which includes Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

As seen in the trailer, Kraven the Hunter, known to hunt down Spider-Man to prove he’s the best hunter, will be appearing. Many are speculating this is how Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will begin. Dr. Curtis Connors (Lizard), Venom (confirmed to be Harry Osborn), and possibly Mysterio will also be featured.

In the gameplay trailer, Peter has unlocked the symbiote suit. He also appears with iron arms. Long range attacks are much cooler with the symbiote suit. We also see gliders, named Web Wings, added to the game. There are new gadgets, like the Web Line, used to walk around while in stealth mode. The Web Grabber catches nearby enemies to be pulled into a single spot for Stealth Takedowns. Stealth Takedowns can now defeat two at a time.

Just like the last two games, you can acquire many different suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, (rumored to be 65!) while also being able to customize them in many ways.

Hopefully Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is as amazing as it looks in the trailers. Enjoy swinging this October!
