P.s I Love You Spirit Week!

Here at Lindenhurst high school this week from Feb 5th-9th was P.S. i love you day  spirit week.Students here at Lindenhurst high school dressed up according to these following themes below.

Monday’s theme was dynamic duo day. Dynamic duo day is about dressing up with your friend as a dynamic duo for example like spongebob and patrick, who doesn’t love Spongebob and Patrick. Maybe you could have dressed up as the comedic duo rick and morty.

Tuesday’s theme was Ages day. Ages day is where each graduating class dresses up as a certain age group. For freshmen it was Babies, Sophomores had to dress as teens, Juniors were adults and seniors were senior-citizens.Each age period is fitting for each graduating class signifying what point in stages the classes are at. From freshman as babies since this is their first year starting high school to seniors as senior citizens since this is their last year of highschool.

On Wednesday it was Ambitions day. For Ambitions day you dress up as your dream job.Your dream Job may be a doctor or a firefighter maybe you even wanna be a teacher, whichever your dream job is you would dress accordingly to that job.

Gratitude day was on Thursday. You write a letter for your favorite teacher expressing your gratitude. This day is a nice day to show your gratitude and let your teacher know that you are grateful and you acknowledge all the hard work they put into their Job and teaching the students here at Lindenhurst high school, All while having a life of their own. A small thing such as a letter to your favorite teacher could brighten their day and possibly yours by showing your appreciation.

Friday was P.S. I love you day, where you wear purple to support P.S. I love you day and to promote love and mental health awareness. This day is dedicated to showing love to your peers and acknowledging the struggles of mental health. Wearing purple helps show your support for mental health and the importance of spreading love to others.
