Lindenhurst High School (LHS) has a variety of clubs to offer ranging from Ski clubs to creating art in the National Art Honor Society. Many clubs happen throughout the week and take place at different times (usually afterschool).
You can become involved in a club by showing up to meetings, participating in events with the club and communicating with others to become connected. Clubs often have a group chat so everyone can stay in touch with each other.
If you don’t know what clubs to join you can think about what you enjoy the most and check if it is a club that interests you. You can find more information about a club through announcements, asking guidance counselors or people in the main office.
To become an active club member you can contribute ideas, take on leadership roles and collaborate with others. Some clubs at LHS include Key Club, Student Council and Lindy Cares. The Key club (advisor Ms.Ricotta) provides students with the opportunity of community service hours. Student Council (advisor Ms. Scharf) lets students communicate with each other and discusses important topics affecting students and faculty and students go on fun field trips! Principal’s Leadership Council (PLC) (advisor Dr. Bocc) talks about making new school events and any suggestions you have to make the school day fun and better! If you have any ideas PLC will definitely want to know!
LHS has many clubs and organizations, and finding the right clubs depends on what you enjoy and like. You can always find information about clubs by listening to morning announcements and asking administrators!
