Collectible Shops in Long Island

Collectibles and the community around them only continue to grow bigger as we move into 2026. There are many different things to collect, such as Popmart cuties (BB3, labubus, Nommi), music items (CDs, vinyls), and books (comics, novels). Living in NY, things can be expensive. There are a few stores in the area known for being cheap, reliable, and up-to-date!

Looney Tunes is probably one of the most popular stores on this list when it comes to Long Island locals! They offer tons of vinyls and CDs, most of which are helping to keep up with the trends. If you’re a fan of vintage, they have nice collections of old music for you to enjoy. For anyone looking to meet the one’s singing in these vinyls and CDs, Looney Tunes has frequent meet-and-greets at their store.
All Star Comics is another collectible store that features not just comics, but also Popmart and Pokemon items! There are many different Pokemon merchandise, including cards and plushies. There are a few BB3’s, labubu figurines, and Nanci’s. If you enjoy comics, then comic artists also frequent the store for exclusive signings and art.
Rip ‘n’ Ship is a Pokemon and TCG (trading card game) shop. They offer plenty of different cards, including Magic the Gathering, Lorcana, and Pokemon. They also have different tournaments that you can use to flex your skills, and you can take a beginners’ course as well!

Asani has been writing for years now and her curiosity for the world is encapsulated in her writing. Her writing can be scattered, meaning that she writes what she thinks initially and edits it later. She is working on a book currently. Although not yet named, it is about psychology and her way of viewing the world around her. This may not sound interesting but the book isn’t meant to be surface level observations. It’s more. Asani was born January 4th, 2009. She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Lindenhurst after her mom’s death when she was 2. A lot of her writing is about how to deal with grief as well, even if it’s been many years. She lives with her father and helps work at his comic book store. Asani is also a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and instructs at her dojang. This gives her the opportunity to work with kids since her goal is to be an English teacher and to transition into a school psychologist. Music and poetry are her strong suits, as she is a singer in chorus and has written multiple songs. Asani believes that her writing should change how someone thinks. She wants her writing to mean something to other people. She wants to make them cry, either happy or upset, about an observation or a piece of writing she has created. She has hope that everyone will enjoy her writing.
