Emily Snit is a 15 year old sophomore at Lindenhurst High School. This is their first year writing for the Charles Street Times. They are in Science Club and President of the Environmental Club, as well as multiple honors classes and one AP class. Outside of school, they are currently the acting Captain of the Lindenhurst Junior Fire department, and have been a member since 8 years old. Some of their hobbies include snowboarding, bike riding, kayaking, hiking, tennis, and playing video games.
