On Sunday, February 5th, the 65th annual Grammys was held and aired for millions of people to see. For this year’s Grammys, singer-songwriter Harry Styles was nominated for 7 Grammys, those being “Album of the Year,” “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” “Best Pop Vocal Album,” “Best Pop Solo Performance,” “Best Music Video,” and “Best Engineered Album.”

This year, Harry Styles also performed his lead single from his new album As It Was. Many fans were excited to see their favorite artist perform, and hopefully win some Grammys. While Harry Styles was nominated for 7 Grammys, he managed to successfully walk home with 2 rightfully won awards. This year, Harry Styles won “Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Album of the Year.” In the category of “Album of the Year,” there were 10 nominees overall, making this win feel so much more special.

Even though Harry didn’t win 5 of the Grammys he was nominated for, other talented artists walked away with their well earned awards. This year, “Record of the Year” was won by Lizzo, for her song “About Damn Time.” Bonnie Raitt won “Song of the Year”, which came as a surprise to many. “Best Pop Solo Performance” was awarded to Adele this year for her performance of her song “Easy on Me.” Taylor Swift carried the award of “Best Music Video” for her beautiful short film titled, “All Too Well (10 minute version).” John Kerswell won ”Best Engineered Album” for his work on Harry’s House by Harry Styles. Despite not winning all categories, Harry Styles still had a fantastic Grammys turnout with two awards won, and a great live performance.
