Imani Mcphaul, a junior, is new both to the Charles Street Times and Lindenhurst Highschool as a whole. This will be her first time ever writing on Charles Street Times. She is 15 years old with a mother figure who pushes her to become greater and achieve more. Imani is very focused on majoring in journalism once she goes to college, perhaps staying local and becoming a columnist one day. She is very interested in cooking, watching movies/television, helping others, and listening to music. Imani also dances, doing ballet, tap, jazz, African, and hip-hop since she was 11 years old. Imani is a bright young Black woman ready to take on the world.
