Riverdale came back October 11, Wednesday at 8:00 on CW. As the story continues, the show immediately takes place after Archie’s father being shot. The show promptly starts with Archie in a car with his unconscious father taking him to the hospital. On the entertainment site written by Samantha titled “Riverdale premiere recap: ‘Chapter Fourteen: A Kiss Before Dying’” she details the show scene by scene. In the article she says we get an insight into Fred’s mind as he lays unconscious. She says, “we get our first trip inside Fred’s mind, where he’s taking a photo of the core four on graduation day. But when they remind Fred that he didn’t live to see graduation day, we snap back reality.”

A reality check for those who haven’t ever seen Riverdale, the show came out January 26, 2017.  It was based off of the Archie comic books from 1941, but Netflix made a modern version of it. The small town of Riverdale is turned upside down when Jason Blossom, one of the most popular kids at school, mysteriously dies. Archie and his friends: Betty, Veronica, and Jughead band together to solve his mysterious murder, while also dealing with some other problems, on the website IMDb it states, “Archie Andrews discovers his love for music, and his teacher. Betty Cooper unravels her feelings for Archie, and her family secrets. Veronica Lodge is the new girl, who is a threat to cheerleading captain Cheryl Blossom, Jason’s twin sister.”

As Fred comes back we get a look into everyone else’s lives. Betty gets worried that Jughead will join the serpents even though he assured her he won’t. However he can’t help but feel close to his father while around feeling it’s the best he can do while his dad is in jail still blamed for the Jason Blossom incident. Speaking of more worried girlfriends Veronica tries her best to comfort Archie while his father is in the hospital, but it doesn’t work out very well. Archie just gets more frustrated and yells at her to leave. I won’t spoil too much but just know that the show is definitely worth watching. The new show is now available on demand in CW.
